So here we are, at the end of yet another bunch of holidays. Of course, I have little worries about all this; I'm done with school in two weeks. In any case, I'm mighty tired.

I've applied for all my various uni things. Melbourne is naturally my 1st preference. Bloody swanky, that joint. I've also put in all sorts of applications for SEAS and scholarships. Can't take any chances and that.

I'm in the mood for a tattoo at the moment. And some more piercings. I should probably try to resis this compulsion.

Since these seem to always synch up with the end of the holidays, it is time to update this here journal.

I've done almost no homework and I'm quite unconcerned, as always. I've not gotten into trouble in the past, no sense thinking I will now. The only one that I should pretend to care about is history. Someone teach me about the French Revolution and all will be well.

In other news, today I went to the supermarket alone. That really is a big step for me. Leaps, bounds and all that fancy crap. Next I'll be going shopping or something alone.

So it's the second last day of the holidays and I have 1300 words worth of history left to write. So I shall have to do that tomorrow, which is never fun.

On the upside, I found out on Wednesday I shall need a laparoscopic fundoplication to rectify a rather naughty hiatus hernia lingering at the base of my oesophagus. So yeah, time off school and teeny weeny scars. What could be better? The downside is this will no doubt cost money, but it won't be my money so it'll be no concern of mine. So yeah, the time in hospital well and truly makes up for the whole history essay drama.

So since I don't want to do any homework, I shall now complain/complain in a different manner.

I've been off school for a grand total of 1 week, 5 days. I've been able to act in a holiday-like manner for a grand total of two of those. Hooray!

Despite not doing any homework, I've been busy all of those days with one thing or another. Mostly work. To make matters marginally worse, I actually have to go to school this week. Four days this week. Monday tuesday, theatre studies, thursday friday, house drama. It would have been five, but I have something to get me out of school tomorrow. But it's kind of a medical procedure, so it's not that much of an improvement.

However, I have managed to pick up some very nice pieces of crap off hard rubbish. I've broken and tiny hard drives from here until some point about three broken and tiny hard drive lengths away.

One thing about hard rubbish that confuses me is the mattresses. Where are they coming from? How can these people afford to throw away a mattress every. Single. Year.
